The ego meter is used to gauge how egotistical (or pathetic) my disposition is. The trick is to keep it right in the middle. Right now my ego appears to be on the rise, so i better go eat a slice of humble pie. I strongly recommend an ego meter to all musicians (actually, almost all people could use one).
